California’s Electronic Waste Recycling Act of 2003 is landmark legislation that has led the nation in addressing and managing this important issue.

The EPA has now classified most electronic scrap as hazardous waste. Many electronic products contain hazardous wastes that cannot be disposed of in municipal trash. Hazardous materials found in tvs, PCs and monitors can  include lead, mercury, phosphorus, cadmium, barium, hexavalent chromium,  and more.

Homeowners: Bring in your old computers, tvs and other unneeded equipment for disposal: we recycle anything electronic.  Take advantage of CCRI’s data destruction services. There is never a charge to the public for anything. 

CCRI maintains regular assisted drop-off hours at our facility. An area is also available for evening and weekend dropoffs, 24/7.

Businesses: Our company truck is available for local pickup, or we can arrange pickup on larger loads.

We offer computer asset management programs for corporations. Enjoy a return on your computer investments in our resale programs, or enjoy peace of mind with our harddrive destruction services.

CCRI  uses WipeDrive PRO, a US government approved program, or an electronic degausser to erase all data from your hard disks and can provide you with a Certificate of Destruction if needed. We remove all data, labels and identifying marks from items we resell.
